Once you apply you will have the opportunity to speak with your recruiter who will help you land your next opportunity. You will have the option to take a technical test that will let companies know you have been vetted for your skills.

Absolutely. All opportunities with SkillHire are remote work. Our opportunities are borderless, allowing you to work from anywhere in the world.

Each contract is different but an average contract on SkillHire is 3 months, either part-time or full-time. We also always ensure there is at least 1 month of design or development services (160 hours) required before accepting a new client. We do do this to ensure the project is a worthwhile undertaking for everyone involved.

As a Freelancer you get to enjoy the benefit of setting your own hours and working during the times of day that suite you. You will, however, likely be asked to join a weekly meeting or standup, which will be during US timezone hours PST to EST but you can always work with the client to establish a time that suits everyone.

You are paid every 2 weeks, on average. We invoice most clients semi-weekly and payouts are issued to freelance teams upon receiving an invoice payment from the client.

We partner with venture backed and accelerator backed startups in all industries, including tech, e-commerce, fintech, consumer, gaming, and health. All clients that we worked with have insitutional financing or are profitable businesses. We do not at this time accept clients that do not have investment or are self-financing their companies.

SkillHire is always free to use as talent. We do not charge you commission but we do charge clients a fee for our recruiting, vetting, and payroll services.
